Proud to be supporting great local charities

The Tom Bowdidge Foundation

The Tom Bowdidge Foundation is a charitable foundation, founded on 28th February 2014 and launched by his parents, Richard and Nikki on the 20th birthday anniversary of Tom Bowdidge.

Tom died of a desmoplastic small round cell tumour and extensive peritoneal disease in October 2013, at the age of 19. The Foundation is headquartered in Colchester and its goal is to raise funds to support research projects and to provide physical and emotional support to teenagers and young people with cancer.

The Robin Cancer Trust

Following the death of Robin on 10th December 2011, the Freeman family took it upon themselves to make sure a positive came out of this heart-breaking situation. Founded in February 2012 with the aim of raising awareness of Germ Cell Cancers in 16-35 year olds.

The RCT reached registered charity status within 8 months; a fact made even more incredible when you take in to account fundraising only started in May! From that very first fundraising event, Mayday Mayhem at V-Bar Colchester, the charity has gone from strength to strength gaining support in the form of local business and events and even corporate supporters.
